A SPECTACULAR SETTING FOR FUN

The Long Beach Peninsula is a place of relaxation, wonder, and enjoyment. Between the acres of sand dunes, jagged cliffs, and our 28 miles of sandy beaches, spectacular scenes await you.

Picturesque beach towns offer a variety of entertainment: Shopping, carnival rides, gallery hopping, dining, and much more will make the days fly by. Marsh’s Free Museum, home of Jake the Alligator Man and other oddities, is a must-see attraction.

Long Beach is an ideal place to go kite flying. Visit the World Kite Museum or attend the annual Washington State International Kite Festival Kite Festival—it’s an amazing site.

Pack a picnic and explore the many trails and walking routes in Long Beach. Take a stroll on the half-mile beach boardwalk and watch the waves crashing below. In any type of weather, he boardwalk makes for a fantastic outing.

Hikers will love the 8.3-mile Discovery Trail, which stretches from Long Beach to Ilwaco. The trail features statues, interpretive displays, and an authentic whale skeleton!

If you love seafood, make your own feast: This is a great place to go clamming, crabbing, fishing, or oyster gathering.
